BudapestJS 2017 October

Oct 19, 2017 · Budapest, Hungary

This time we focus a bit more on specific tooling and technologies with two great talks. To most of you these two names (Angular, Webpack) are not new... so make sure to join and share your opinion and experience with the rest of us!

To make sure that everyone has the necessary amount energy to digest the content of these talks, refreshments will be provided before, between and after.

Applied Angular Arcana (György Kovács)

Angular is the hip new framework of our days, with a great many features - more than what are adequately documented. To save you the trouble of re-implementing needlessly complicated versions of what comes out of the box, this presentation intends to shed some light on the deeper, darker parts of the framework. And if you're wondering why you'd even want to go anywhere near those features - don't worry, there will be plenty of examples as well.

Is Webpack a dead-end? (Balázs Korossy-Khayll)

An overview of the whys and the hows of different bundling technologies that the JS world have seen over time, and leave the question open ended with the promise that the next generation HTTP protocol solving the issue. (Not Http2, but the thing that comes after.)
