Moreover how does a web development team overgrow itself to become an electric vehicle manufacturer? The answer: with lots of sacrifices. But is this sacrifice a pain? Is it a waste?
💡Agile Dojo experiences
Agile offers methods, frameworks & best practices to set up an agile organization. Yet many organizations are struggling in their transformation journey. Hence, many stakeholders and coaches often question what is the best way to embed Agile principles and values in teams in an enterprise world? One thing is that there is no place cookie-cutter or one-size-fits-all approach. But some practices have proven more potent than others across various enterprises.
We will share our experiences in trying to change how we work in ExxonMobil using the Dojo. It is a unique immersive learning program focused on helping development teams build new/improve their Product, Lean, Agile & DevOps muscles, which will ultimately help the organization change its culture & mindset quickly. In the Dojo, teams with the help of Dojo coaches work on delivering in their current work to deliver value faster to customers & in the process have a shift in mindset by learning to acquire & develop long-standing skills.
🗣️Andrea Török - Agile consultant, trainer & coach @ Sprint Consulting. She has 10+ years of experience in leading and working with teams and has worked as a Product Owner for around 4 years. During this experience she realized that there is no bigger power than a great team. This realization led her on a journey to find better ways on helping to empower individuals and teams alike, experience the power of collaboration and teamwork.
🗣️Balázs Csapó - economist, designer, partner of Virgo Group, founder of Servo Movement, entrepreneur since 2005, head of Virgo’s creative department. While building his own company, he also supports startup incubations with digital consultancy, UX strategy and more importantly with his strong lean/agile mindset.His own product portfolio mainly consists of software-hardware hybrids and IoT solutions.
From 2016 he focuses his efforts on Servo Movement only and works for cleaner, greener cities with his wide range of lightweight electric vehicles and shared charging station network.
🗣️Stephen Okoye - Dojo (Agile) coach at ExxonMobil, started his career as a business analyst, then web developer. Over the years he had various stints as a scrum master, product owner, IT consultant, SAP application analyst. He was instrumental in igniting the Agile culture in ExxonMobil Budapest, starting as a Scrum Master, then moving on to become an Agile trainer in the early days of Agile at the GBC. He has a knack for problem solving, as a change agent & Agile evangelist, when not coaching at the Dojo, he seeks opportunities to partner with others to spread a culture of agile mindset, innovation & technical excellence within & outside the organization.
