Brisbane Tech Newbies Monthly Meetup

Sep 13, 2017 · Brisbane City, Australia

Hack Night!

Every 3 months will be Hack Night at Brisbane Tech Newbies, and this will be our first one. Bring along your laptop (or borrow one if you need to) and a project to work on, and enjoy good food, company and coding. Maybe you went to Rails Girls or Django Girls and want to finish off those last aspects of your site. You might be building a website from scratch or working through an online course, or you might want to spend the night trying something completely new!

There'll be lots of people around to help keep you motivated or talk through any issues you're having.

If you don't have a project, don't worry - we'll have plenty of suggestions on the night for projects and courses in Front End Development, Ruby, Python and JavaScript.

Note: you will need a laptop to participate, and should bring along a charger (though try to make sure you're fully charged before you get there).

The evening starts at 6pm with Pizza arriving at 6:30.
