Bridging the Gap: Workforce Readiness for Women in Tech

Join us on Wednesday September 13 at 5:30pm at Drexel University for an evening of discussion around how we can create a more even playing field in the tech industry. Whether it is creating more opportunities for women in tech, negotiating equal pay or qualifying for higher level positions- how can push forward and make a change?

Our event will be held in room 406. Networking with light fare and refreshments will be in the 4th floor lounge, which is on the same floor and near room 406.

Felicite Moorman is an award-winning technology entrepreneur and attorney with over twenty-five years of experience founding and building companies. She received the Entrepreneur Of The Year® 2017 Award and has earned an international reputation as a go-to IoT industry expert, developing pioneering strategic partnerships and unprecedented technology strategies and initiatives in the Internet of Things. Moorman is the Co-Founder and CEO of StratIS and CEO of BuLogics, companies that pioneer groundbreaking IoT development across the

Tabatha Simpson, is currently a full-stack cloud application developer, software quality engineer and SharePoint admin for Clean Earth, Inc. in Hatboro . In addition she also volunteers as the head of computer ministries for St. Philip's Orthodox Church in Souderton, doing technical support for the office and parishioners. Tabatha holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science with a minor in Business Administration from Arcadia University.  She was also certified as a software quality engineer by the American Society for Quality (ASQ).

Lauren Dickstein, is the VP of Product Strategy at Jornaya, a marketing analytics startup in Conshohocken. In this role, Lauren identifies and prioritizes product opportunities and leads the company’s go-to-market strategy. Prior to Jornaya, Lauren held roles at Ampush Media and Morgan Stanley. She graduated from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania with a concentration in Finance. Lauren lives in Center City with her husband, Eric, and her favorite Philly pastimes include attending Eagles games, riding her bike on the Schuylkill, and crushing the Eater 38.
