We apologize for the delay in getting this out but here is the agenda for tonight's Meetup(Sept 26th)
We are going to have both presentation/discussion around some dimensional models. Led by John Kerley-Weeks. Who is currently working on some of these projects at select health.
The times in the agenda are mostly just time boxes/suggestions this will be a discussion the group can really focus on where it goes.
We will be mentioning the Big Mountain Data and Dev conference as well and any questions you might have around it. Food will arrive by 6:30. We hope to see you then!
15 minute recorded demo of DataRobot
15 minute discussion “Are dimensional models dead?”
15 minute introductions and sharing on dimensional model usage
45 minutes Predictive Data Analytics
Automated Predictive Analytics will change several of the daily responsibilities of data analysts in the years to come. We will briefly review a number of current commercial and open source predictive analytics solutions available today in order to better understand our anticipated data workflows three years from now. John Kerley-Weeks will provide an overview of several commercial and open source solutions to evaluate the best data models and hyperparameter tuning selections, what areas can and cannot be automated and several results from recent studies evaluating multiple data models and hyperparameter tuning options. A few tools discussed include: DataRobot, BigSquid, Driverless H2O, AWS Sagemaker, Python TPOT (scikit-learn wrapper), and R Caret.
