Title: Be a mentor | Building your mentorship toolkit.
第二場 Women Who Code Taipei & H.E.R Lab 聯名活動
Mentor.
The 2nd Women Who Code Taipei & H.E.R. Lab Collaboration Event
When we talk about mentors, we often look from a perspective of how we can be “supported”, yet we often fail to notice how we can also become mentors to support others. Our past work experiences, life experiences, cross-cultural experiences are all examples of experiences that we can share that may open up a window of opportunity and inspiration for others.
For this event, we will be discussing how we can understand our own skills to become mentors. We will have scenario discussions around how to be more confident in accepting an invitation to be a mentor.
What we will discuss:
How to tap into your strengths and grow into your role as a mentor
Skills and tips to building a long-lasting mentoring relationship.
How to approach someone and make them be your mentor
