August Tech Talks

Aug 24, 2017 · Toronto, Canada

Hello Alchemists!

Join us for our August edition of the Elixir Tech Talks.

This month we have a broad lineup that will cater to beginners as well as more experienced devs. Bring a friend and introduce them to our favourite language!

First on stage Justin Giancola (@elucid) with his talk "Rebuilding my first Rails application in Phoenix"

Shortly after Ben Moss (@drteeth) will dive into architectural ideas for Elixir/Phoenix applications.

Last but not least, Max Veytsman (@mveytsman) will give a lighting talk titled "Hacking your Elixir editor".

The great folks at PagerDuty are graciously hosting us again. They will also be providing some pizza and beer for our group. Doors open at 6pm and will be taking place around the kitchen area. Talks will start around 7pm.

PagerDuty is the enterprise incident resolution service that integrates with ITOps and DevOps monitoring stacks to improve operational reliability and agility. From enriching and aggregating events to correlating them into incidents, PagerDuty streamlines the incident management process by reducing alert noise and resolution times.
