One way is to introduce diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) principles into your design and development process. DEI is often talked about in relation to hiring and company culture and not tied back to the day-to-day work of designers and developers. Join us for a discussion and hands-on workshop centered around integrating DEI principles into design work and teams.
We will explore:
- Definitions of diversity, equity, and inclusion and how it applies to design
- Examples of products that had DEI in mind and those that did not
- Methodology for ensuring your design considers real people and situations
