Synopsis: Talk about how you can accelerate your move to the cloud by converting existing .net based applications into docker containers. This enables you to run them on any platform where docker is available. Once in a container you can use a devops approach with modern CI tooling to give these apps a new lease of life!!!!

18:30 - AVI Networks - The Path to Zero Code Automation of Application Services. Roberto Casula, Senior Systems Engineer, Avi Networks
Synopsis: Roberto will discuss the various automation options available when using Avi's Vantage platform for application delivery. We will briefly set the scene by explaining Avi's architecture and approach, touching briefly on Avi's operation in container orchestration environments, and will then talk through the various levels of automation that customers might use at different stages of their journey towards a DevOps way of working. Finally we will look in detail at how Avi works with one specific automation tool, Ansible, and how Avi's Ansible modules allow effortless service deployment with zero code required.
Bio: Roberto is a technologist with over twenty years experience in the networking, application delivery and software space. Originally a software developer and maintaining a keen interest in coding to this day, Roberto moved into design and consultancy, helping customers bridge the gap between infrastructure and application teams and their business unit customers. Roberto joined Avi Networks in 2017 and is now helping drive adoption of Avi's next-generation application service delivery platform in some of the largest organisations in the UK.
