App Delivery Networking in the Cloud by Radware, hosted by Google & Cloudbakers

Feb 22, 2012 · Chicago, United States of America

Topic Overview:
Application delivery networking is an approach and a suite of technologies that comprises application security, application acceleration and network availability. It ensures that applications are always secure, fast, and available across any network.
In this discussion, Neil Sullivan and Wondyrad Tefera from Radware will explain how these same techniques can be applied to the different cloud service models.
Location and Logistics:
Brandon Jung of Google is kind enough to host us at his Google offices on the 9th floor and will be saying a few words with the Cloudbakers team before we get started.  UPDATE 2/22 2pm: this month's meetup is located in Google's "hi fidelity" conference room located on the 8th floor of 20 W. Kinzie.  20 W. Kinzie is a half block west of State and has Keefer's Restaurant in the lobby.  Parking in garages nearby or public transportation will get you there.
Networking starts at 5pm with a formal start to the discussion at 5:30p.  Google has moved us into a larger room called the "hi fidelity" room on the 8th floor.  It can handle 50-70 people so am going to open up the RSVP list to everyone.  Apologies for the late notice!
Food and drinks will be provided.
Agenda and Speaker bios:
Brandon Jung will be opening the discussion with a brief intro about Google.  The team from Cloudbakers, our gracious hosts of the Google Apps for Business discussion last year, will be saying hello as well.  Brandon manages sales and marketing in the Midwest for Google and has made himself available for networking and any follow on discussions.  We will then turn it over to Neil and Wondyrad from Radware for the main event.
Neil Sullivan, Regional Account Manager for Radware, has been in the application delivery and IT security industry for over 10 years helping customers build solutions while representing vendors like Radware, F5, Cisco and Blue Coat.
Wondyrad Tefera, Solution Architect for Radware, is an expert in both the application delivery networking space as well as network and application security space, he has practical experience managing every aspect of a large and growing IT organization from networking to storage.
