Spend a fun and FREE evening with us exploring RxJS and Angular 2. Let us show you how Rx changes the way you code for the better. Learn to make your apps more functional and responsive with less code. Along the way we will also show you: ES6/ES2015, TypeScript, using NPM in your workflow, and, of course, Angular 2. Come and see the next wave of JavaScript front-end tools now.
Angular 2 is compatible with a large number of JavaScript libraries, but it is dependent on only one library, RxJS. What is RxJS? It is the Reactive Extensions JavaScript library.
Microsoft created and open-sourced the Reactive Extensions libraries over five years ago. The goal was simple: make it easier for applications to handle asynchronous data streams. What are asynchronous data streams? It is nearly any repeating data source from UI events to ajax data. Netflix, GitHub, Trello, AirBnB and other top-tier internet companies have since adopted Rx. Google likes RxJS so much they made it the only library required with Angular 2.
