XPRIZE organisation has just announced the $10-million ANA Avatar XPRIZE challenge to develop real-life Avatars. The multi-purpose avatar system should enable us to remotely see, hear, and interact with distant physical environments and beings. At this meetup, we invite participants excited about XPRIZE to brainstorm on developing multi-purpose avatar system using IoT, robotics, AI, etc, discuss which platform/toolkits can be used, and form teams.
We will also hear from members of Team Indus, which is the only finalist from India in the Google Lunar XPRIZE that aims to land and control a rover on the Moon. They will talk about their XPRIZE journey and what it takes to succeed in a grand challenge such as this. This is a great opportunity for participants to find like-minded individuals, ideate, and prepare for the challenge.
Finally, we will present 3 other AI projects in Computer Vision and Natural Language Processing that participants can sign up for.
