Professor John Fox (CSO at Deontics) will present a short position paper on AI in medicine and a summary of some of the clinical applications Deontics has successfully trialled.
Deontics offers a suite of technologies that enables the systematic representation, distribution and deployment of evidence-based clinical guidelines and pathways. Embodying powerful AI models with a multi-decade heritage, Deontics technology can integrate with most commercial electronic patient record systems, or standalone, either in real-time or, as part of an analytics program, retrospectively. https://deontics.com/technology
Our meeting is at the Oxford Centre for Innovation - please try to arrive shortly before 7:15pm to make door management easier!
The general format is:
• Chat, drinks & nibbles
• Bleeding Edge News - summary of the month's AI activity
• Presentation or discussion
• Tidy up!
After the meeting (around 9pm) we normally head to the Lighthouse pub to continue the discussion. That's just across and down the road (towards the railway station) from the Innovation Centre.
We are very grateful to the Oxford Trust for providing us with the meeting space.
