Agile QA and Its Business Value

Our guest speaker will be Masa K. Maeda, CEO and founder of Valueinnova. He is a member of the Agile Testing Alliance steering committee, a senior consultant with the Cutter Consortium and a founding member of the Lean Kanban University (now unaffiliated). Masa is a leading figure in the lean agile community who has brought transformations to mega corporations and startups in twelve countries . He is also a frequent speaker at conferences worldwide and his book "Serious LeAP" will be published this Fall. After obtaining a PhD and MS in Japan, he did R&D for Justsystems Corp.--the largest Japanese software company--and at Apple Inc in Cupertino. He then ventured as a founding team member of four startups in Silicon Valley and created the QA organization at three of them (two of those startups ended up in acquisition). Masa's talk on Agile QA and Its Business Value is targeted to decision makers from executive to technical leadership levels. His passion for the outdoors was a key reason for moving from Silicon Valley to Silicon Slopes.
