Agile for Operations

Mar 3, 2015 · Durham, United States of America

At the last Agile-RTP meeting, Magnus Hedemark discussed how Agile and DevOps can coexist and be leveraged to support the other.
This session complements many of those topics with an experience report. For the last year, an operations team at Appia, Inc. has successfully incorporated both Agile and DevOps principles and practices. The team that was once fire-fighting and a bottleneck has found balance and executes on its long-term roadmap with ease. In this session, you’ll learn how this team got its start by using a few general agile practices and scrum (yes, scrum) to manage their work. From both the speaker and other attendees, you will have a chance to hear what the community is trying, what is working and not working, and what is next.
