Learn to build apps for the Google Assistant even if you don't know how to code.

10:00AM - 11:00AM Engaging with the Google Assistant: What is this and why do we care? An overview of the various things that the Google Assistant can do. Why is voice powerful and what things can we do with it?

11:00AM -12:00PM Engaging with the Google Assistant: Building Awesome Actions, a high-level view. How do we, as Developers, design and build for the Google Assistant? A high-level view of the components that make it up and the concepts we need to think about.

12:00PM- 12:30PM - Firebase DB, cloud functions, and hosting: Components for Awesome Actions. You can build an Action on any platform, but Google makes it easier with Firebase.

12:30PM - 1:00PM - Overview of Dataflow (formerly known as API.AI)

1:00PM - 2:00PM Lunch

2:00PM - 3:00PM Hands-on Guided Code Lab

3:00PM - 5:00PM Continue with code labs or start your own project

5:00PM - 5:15PM Wrap up

We will provide some Google Home devices for Code labs. We will also have swag and raffle some giveaways for attendees.
