Action BI Toolkit: DevOps for Power BI Reports
----------------------------------------------------------------
We're excited to announce our main session this month features Brian Mather and Mathias Thierbach:
Are you tired of committing .pbix binary files into your source control system? Does this cause you compliance issues, repo bloat and change tracking nightmares? Why can't industry-standard DevOps practices be used to manage change control and automated report deployment in Power BI?
Well, now they can!
Action BI Toolkit https://toolkit.action-bi.com/.
Using Action BI Toolkit, Mathias and Brian will show how your developers commit report changes into source control as they work in Power BI Desktop. Only the changed elements will be committed to your repo.
Be amazed as you see the Azure DevOps pipeline create a new .pbix file from source control and deploy it through to the Dev, Test and Production environments!

He is a Power BI expert, cares deeply about change control, automation, DevOps, as well as establishing Centers of Excellence for Power BI. Mathias has developed the pbi-tools CLI tools which are the powerhouse behind Action BI Toolkit.
As owner and Power BI Expert at Action BI Ltd, Brian Mather has been helping major international organisations transform their business using Power BI since 2015 including financial performance, asset management as well as driving new technologies for airport maintenance.
