Calgary UX is proud to start our first event in our "Inclusiveness and Accessibility" Series. We are happy to welcome Diana Kourbo, Senior Product Designer. Join us and learn the principles that will guide you on our quest for more accessible experiences for everyone.
About the event
Inclusive and accessible design seems to be a trendy concept in the design world today. For those of us not familiar with it, what is it really and how does it relate to you even if you do not think that accessible design is part of your everyday life?
You might be surprised to find out that it actually is and that you have had several instances in your life where it played a key role in helping you complete everyday tasks.
In this presentation, we'll cover what inclusive and accessible design is, why it's so important and what tools designers can use to create accessible products that can benefit everyone, no matter their skill or ability.
