Join us on April 26th at our next meetup that will show how IoT devices are connected to cloud. We will speak about LoRa and SigFox technologies and some possibilities of AWS for IoT, also will be discussed an idea for a health assistant device.
As always, we'll have a bunch of great speakers, cool talks and snacks.
This time, we will have 2 great guest speakers from ADD Group and Endava.
• 18h45: Welcome & networking
• 19h00: LPWAN technologies for IoT applications
Guest Speaker: Ghennadii G. Programming Engineer at ADD GRUP
Most important characteristics of IoT are the large number of “Things”, their very limited resources and power consumption limitation of battery-powered devices. Our presentation will be about two technologies developed to connect such “Things” to Internet. A short introduction into LoRa and SigFox technologies will be made, main differences, application perspectives and drawbacks will also be discussed.
• 19h30: AWS IoT SDK. ESP32 practical example
Speaker: Veaceslav M. Software Developer at Pentalog
AWS IoT provides secure, bi-directional communication between Internet-connected devices and the AWS Cloud. With AWS IoT SDK and other AWS Services, you can collect sensors data from devices, store and analyze the data without dedicated servers.
• 20h00: Health Assistant
Guest Speaker: Constantin G. Software developer at Endava
Health Assistant: Presenting an idea of a device which can help you improve your health in the workplace, by gauging your surroundings, the room temperature/humidity is optimal and giving you all sorts of other customizable health advice.
The meetup is open and free for everybody. We have limited spots, though :). So, please RSVP to book your spot.
