2021 WordPress Lightning Talks and Networking

It's been a little while since we last held a WordPress meetup so we want to finish the year with a BANG! We're excited to bring back lightning talks for a second year and we invite you to join us for some networking, learning and fun.

WHAT IS A LIGHTNING TALK?

Put simply, a lightning talk is a 4 minute presentation on a topic you are passionate about.

There are a few simple rules:

- Your topic must be relevant to WordPress
- No sales. No spam. GPL (General Public License) Themes/Plugins only.
- 12 slides, auto incrementing every 20 seconds. No backtracking!

Here are some of the topics we had at our last Lightning Talk event:
- Analogies to explain the internet
- WordPress community from a Newbie Perspective
- JetPack Social Sharing

We encourage speakers from all backgrounds, whether you're a blogger, business owner, designer, developer, administrator or user, to share with us something about WordPress that you are passionate about!

There will be prizes for the best talk(s) as well as pizza and drinks and perhaps a few surprises as well so come along and help us wrap up 2021 in style.
