2021 Rural Connectivity Online Mini Symposium Online

Sep 14, 2021 · ,
Join us to hear how important connectivity is in rural Aotearoa in 2021

Each year we host our full day symposium, but in 2020 we went online due to the COVID pandemic. Unfortunately again in 2021 we've had to change our plans and so we're going online for a shorter update on how important connectivity is to rural Aotearoa in these times of lockdowns and pandemic impacts.

Speakers will include the Hon David Clark, Minister for the Digital Economy & Communications, Dr Jo Scott Jones, Mike Smith from WISPA and representatives from Rural Women NZ, Federated Farmers and Vodafone.

13:40 Rural Voices - What challenges are we still facing?

14:10 Short Break

In case of changes to pandemic alert levels where the event will be unable to be held in person, this event will move online - well that happened didn't it.....
